The financial opportunity shown for indicators in the Clinical and Workforce categories is calculated for the quarter displayed, this value should be multiplied by 4 to determine the annualised opportunity. The financial opportunity shown for indicators in the Prescribing category is an annualised figure.
GP Practice Data
The recent government announcements about Arms Lengths Bodies has impacted this tool development and restricted the functionality we have been able to deliver in the initial development phase. This has meant that we have been unable to include GP practice level information in this publication. It is our intention to produce data at this level in the future.
Source data usage
A number of the indicators contained in this site use data and information from varying sources. Most notably these data sources are;
- The SUS/PBR data set
- Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) data
- ONS Population data
- Reference data for Organisational Codes used to identify individual organisations
Further to the above documentation is also supplied about Standardisation and ranking used within the indicators
